In the event an advertised item is out of stock at the time of purchase we reserve the right to cancel the sale and the full refund (including bank charges) will be issued. No rain check will be issued or honoured. In the event of paying for the product which is not confirmed (by our system by order id and email) we will refund the money back to the account it came from.
Although large amounts of effort are made preparing and tuning all bikes and folding bikes prior to freighting, we must emphasise that all Bikes or Folding bikes that are packed and sent interstate need to be checked by a professional mechanic after the bike has been unpacked at your end, prior to you riding the bike. although the risk is now almost nill, Bike Depot cannot be held responsible for issues that arrise after a bike or folding bike is freighted
It is also essential that you get your bike or folding bike "checked-over/serviced" within the first month of riding it. Nuts/bolts/screws have a tendency of 'bedding-in' and potentially coming loose, and cables have a tendency to stretch when brand new. This can cause pre-mature ware and failure if not addressed. Once a bike is sent, it is out of our control, and is completely up to the customer to have the bike professionally maintained. Failure to do this may void the warranty.

All due care is taken with each individual enquiry online in regards to issuing the correct size bike. However we are not held accountable for any miss-matches or incorrect sizing of bike or frames. This is 100% the responsibility of the customer.
This is the reason you pay more to head to your local bike store, they provide these services and many more within the cost of the bike. This online store is primarily setup to serve the people who don't need these services, therefore can skip paying the extra margins. The returns due to wrong size will be charged a 30% restocking fee (excl. shipping costs) upon accepting the return (there can't be any sort of damage, dints, scratches, etc on the returning item).
Returns: All orders that are returned due to 'change of mind' or wrong size selection, including colour or model, will incur a 30% re-stocking fee. This fee can only be waived if Bike Depot supply an incorrect product size, or colour. e.g. If we supply you with a Size 41 shoe instead the size 43 selected in the order etc. Mis-interpretation or mis-reading product information is not Bike Depot's responsibility. Remember if you aren't sure, ENQUIRE FIRST!
All warranty return and re-sending shipping costs will be paid by the customer. Regardless of the outcome of a warranty claim.
NO warranty claim can be granted until the item is inspected by our warranty department, and a decision has been made by bike depot or by the appropriate supplier. Occasionally this process can take time if the product needs to be sent back to the distributor. Bike Depot regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
